We really needed a new roof, and decided it was time to "bite the bullet" and go for it, before another winter and any more storms came around!
They started working on it on Sunday morning, and were finished by Tuesday afternoon! Almost there...
All done! Here's a shot from the backyard...
And from the front... the new gutters look great too!
Now we don't have to worry when the next storm comes!

Congratulations on your new roof, Mary. Homeowners need to know when to repair or to replace their roofs. :) May I ask what type of roof did you replace it with? I hope it's a metal one. Metal roofs are less prone to leaks, you know, and they can last for a long period of time. :)

It’s good that you had your roof fixed before the rainy season started. It’s difficult to fix a roof under stormy weather conditions as it is a bit difficult to work up there, not to mention dangerous. It’s better to repair it before rather than after the storm, because most probably, what problems it had before will become worse and be more difficult to resolve.

How old was your roof when you replaced it? You are most likely enjoying your new roof! Especially during the winter season! I'm trying to figure out if a 12 year old roof with some minor damages is good enough to replace? Or should I do some repairs and just settle for it for a few more years? What do you think?
