Merry Christmas!
Celebrating the greatest gift of all...
The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. From this fullness of His grace we have ALL received...

My Blogroll... updated!
I just reviewed and updated all the links in the "My Blogroll" section on the right side of this page... there are some really great blogs on there! These are the blogs of various individuals that I don't know personally, but really enjoy visiting their blogs at least weekly. They are funny and encouraging, and insightful.
I just wanted to share, because I thought someone else might enjoy them too! =)

Thanksgiving at Shasta
Playing in the snow on Mt. Shasta
We visited Grandpa and Grandma Wagner in Mt. Shasta for Thanksgiving. Great Grandpa and Grandma Ramseier and Leroy and Ann were there too, and we all had a lot of fun! On Friday we visited Del and Bobbie and all the cousins in Bonanza, Oregon. On Saturday we went up to the snow and built a snowman.
Sarah liked the snow pretty well, and didn't mind walking in it, but she wasn't crazy about touching it. She had fun at Del and Bobbie's and enjoyed playing with the other kids. She was being so silly on Saturday night, playing with dominoes with Grandpa & Grandma and dancing around. At one point she was looking for the cats in the back yard, and then she licked the cold sliding glass door and said, "Delicious!" LOL!! We were all laughing so hard.
We had a really fun trip, and it was a great Thanksgiving holiday!

Sarah's Birthday weekend
Sarah had so much fun this weekend!! Saturday was her birthday party. Grammy Jan, Uncle John, Grandma and Grandpa Wagner, Uncle Jon and Aunt Rachel, and all the nieces and nephews and great-niece Allora were there! We had pizza and cake and ice-cream, and there were lots of balloons and decorations. (Especially Dora the Explorer!) She got a LOT of presents, and had SO much fun!! On Sunday we all went to the Sacramento Zoo, and met Great Grandpa & Grandma Ramseier there. The weather was beautiful, and we got to see all the animals, and had a great time!
Tomorrow Sarah gets to hang out with Grammy Jan and Uncle John and Daddy, and have 1 more day of fun before her long birthday weekend is officially over.
I can't believe she's 2 already!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sarah!!
(Sarah sporting her new shades and her new Tootie stuffed animal (birthday presents) on the way home from Toys R Us today...)
Steve got to hang out with her today for her birthday, and took her to McDonald's for breakfast, then to Toys R Us to pick out a birthday present. She picked out the Dora the Explorer sunglasses and the blue stuffed animal Tootie. (from Yo Gabba Gabba of course.)

2-year Doctor's Appointment
I just got home from taking Sarah to her 2-year doctor's appointment. She is 35 inches tall, which means she will be 5'10" when she's all grown up! (Double her current height.) I asked her doctor if that is usually accurate or just an "old-wives-tale", and she said it's usually fairly accurate. She said Sarah will probably be somewhere around 5'9" - 5'10" when she's all finished growing!
Go Sarah!!

Sarah's almost TWO!
Sarah's 2nd Birthday is only a few weeks away, on November 11th, and I can't believe how fast the last couple years have gone by!
She has been learning SO much, and picks up on everything so incredibly fast now.
She now knows the following colors: pink, red, blue, green, yellow, brown, white, black, purple, and orange. She also says, "Doggy says ruff, kitty says nee-oww, horsey says naaaay, piggie says oink oink, ducky says quack, cow goes MOO, monkey goes ooo ooo ooo eee eee eee!".
She knows how to count to 10, and can sing the entire alphabet song, even with the end... "Now I know my ABC's, next time won't you sing with me... ME ME ME"! It's so cute.
She even started REALLY jumping yesterday! Before she would stand in place, and bend her knees, and would look like she was jumping but her feet wouldn't actually leave the floor. Now she's figured out if she gets a running start, she actually gets air!
I can't wait to see what she learns in the next few months!!
