My 40th Birthday trip to Pacifica

 We had a wonderful time in Pacifica for my 40th Birthday!  We both took 2 days off work, so had a long 4-day weekend.  We also went to Santa Cruz boardwalk for a day.  The weather was perfect, and it was so nice to just relax all weekend!

My First Oil Painting

I painted this over the course of 2 Saturdays in a Sierra College Community Education class, and it took about 8 hours.  This was my very first time ever trying painting of any kind, and it was a lot of fun.  My teacher was Margot Comer, and she is an amazingly talented artist and wonderful instructor.

5-Year Anniversary of Blog

I can't believe I started this blog exactly 5 years ago today!
When I started this blog, Sarah wasn't even quite 3 months old yet, and now she's 5 years old and getting so big!  She's growing up way too fast!

It's true what they say, time really does go much faster once you have kids!  We have had so much fun these past 5 years, and I'm glad I was able to share a bit of the fun here with you.
