They took some off the length, and added bangs.

Sacramento 5K in William Land Park

Steve and Sarah and I did the Sacramento Cowtown 5K fun run / walk this morning in William Land Park. Sarah just had fun riding in the jogging stoller, and every time we would go by the people standing at the sides cheering us on and ringing cowbells, her eyes would get really big!

Steve was jammin', and finished in 38 mins, while Sarah and I were back with the stroller brigade, and finished in 50 mins. (See race results HERE.) The weather was perfect, and we all had a really fun morning!

First rain of the season

It actually rained a little here in Sacramento last night and this morning! It was a welcome change, and it felt so wonderful outside today, with a light cool breeze and the smell of rain.

We're getting ready for the 5K Walk/Run in Sacramento's WilliamLand Park that we will be doing early tomorrow morning. Sarah will be joining us in a jogging stoller, (Thank you Ron and Jennifer for letting us borrow it!), and we're looking forward to watching her reactions to everything, and of course finishing and getting our T-shirts, and listening to the live music and other festivities at the finish line.

Sarah is getting better all the time at pulling herself up and standing on her own, and is a FAST crawler now. I can't believe she's almost 11 months old already!
