Merry Christmas!!

We had fun painting rocks and pine cones

We visited the California Living Museum in Bakersfield

We went to Kernville so Sarah could sit on Santa's lap,

but Santa was on a break so she sat on his chair instead!

John proposed on Christmas Day,

and Clarissa accepted!  I'm so happy for you guys!!

The night started out at Sutter Street Theater in Folsom, and everyone

had a great time at the show!

Then we all ended up at QBole for dinner and drinks.

It was a lot of fun!

Grandma Wagners' Christmas Bread

I decided to try and replicate, (or get as close as possible), to my 

Grandma Wagner's Christmas bread...

I made it in my new bread machine, and it came out pretty close!

It's not heavy like a fruitcake, but is light enough to toast in 

the toaster and have for breakfast, similar to raisin bread.  Yum!

The Nutcracker Ballet at Harris Center

Took Sarah to see The Nutcracker Ballet at Harris Center / Three Stages 

at Folsom Lake College

We put her hair up in a bun just like a ballerina!

She liked it, and the dancers did a great job!
