We went to Jon and Rachel's house last night for Christmas. Grandpa and Grandma Wagner and all the cousins were there, and Amber and her fiancee Joshua were there too. We all had so much fun! Sarah LOVED playing with all the kids. She just kept playing and playing until after 9:00, and she didn't want to stop! She kept going up and down the step, and just had a great time!

We're leaving tomorrow morning for Lake Isabella! Yay!! It'll be SO much fun!!!

Getting ready for Christmas!

We're almost all ready for Christmas!! Tomorrow night we're going to Jon & Rachel's for Christmas, and then we're leaving this weekend to go to Steve's parents house in Lake Isabella. We will be there all next week, and then next weekend will be with my Mom's family for Christmas in Exeter. So a lot of traveling and fun is in store for next week! We're going to just relax and have fun and play in the snow. I can't wait!!

Pretty Christmas flowers

Steve brought me a beautiful bouquet of Christmas flowers. Thank you Honey! They're so pretty and cheery!

It's supposed to rain today, and we're just hanging out and playing. Sarah is having fun playing with all her toys, and took a few more steps yesterday. One more week of work, and then it'll be time for the Christmas celebration to start!

13 months old!

Sarah is 13 months old today! WOW!! 13 going on 30 months I think...
She isn't nearly as interested in baby food anymore, and wants big-people food most of the time now. She's getting more independent, and is busy running around and playing most of the time now. There are too many fun toys to play with and things to discover!

And Happy Birthday today to Uncle Jon!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like...

We were busy getting ready for Christmas this weekend! ...Shopping, Decorating, and Planning...

We also watched a couple of movies, - "Get Smart" was pretty funny, and a Spelling Bee documentary that was actually quite interesting!

Pretty Poinsettia

Thank you for the beautiful poinsettia Honey! Now it's really starting to feel like Christmas!

On Wednesday Sarah took a couple of steps on her own, then realized what she was doing, and promptly sat right down and then crawled the rest of the way!

She's also talking a lot more now... in addition to: "oo-ee-oo-ee-oo" and "Da-DAH!" and "mum mum", she's also saying "hi" and "kitty" and "uh-oh", and "Tank you" and "tickle tickle" and "NO!". (I think that last one may prove interesting after a little while, but it's still pretty cute right now...)

Happy Thanksgiving 2008!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had a great day, and have so much to be thankful for. Sarah likes turkey and cranberry sauce, and loves mashed potatoes! We watched the parade in the morning, and had a very yummy dinner. Great job carving the turkey Honey!!

More playing at the park...

It was a beautiful day, (about 75 degrees outside), and Steve and Sarah and I had fun swinging and going down the slide, and just being out in the fresh air and warm sunshine!

Brunch with H.S. friends

This morning I met several of my friends from High School for brunch at Carrow's in Roseville, and had a great time catching up! It's crazy how fast time goes by! It will be 18 and 19 years next Summer since we all graduated from High School!

New garage door

We had a new garage door installed today, and it looks SO much better! Thank you to Steve for setting it all up! It really gives the front of the house a much-needed facelift. Steve was busy today, and also put together Sarah's new-and-improved bigger changing table:

Sarah's 1st Birthday

Today is Sarah's 1st Birthday, and I can't believe she is already a whole year old! Wow, the time goes by SO fast!!

Last Saturday we had a birthday party for her at our house. Great Grandpa & Grandma Ramseier, Grandpa & Grandma Wagner, Grandma Yerkes, Uncle John and Uncle Jon, and Amy, Zachary and Benjamin were all there. We all had so much fun, and Sarah had a great time too! She loved seeing everyone, had fun playing with all her new toys, and also with the balloons. Thank you to everyone who came to her party, and we hope you had as much fun as we did!

Election Day 2008

I voted early this morning on my way to work! Here are the National results...

Pink Butterfly - Halloween costume

Sarah was a pink butterfly for her 1st Halloween. We went over to Jon and Rachel's, and went trick-or-treating with Zach and Ben. (Thanks for the yummy dinner too!!) It was fun to see everyone, and Sarah loved watching all the other kids!

Bishop's Pumpkin Farm

On Sunday we took Sarah to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland, CA. We took her to the petting zoo, watched the pig races, walked through part of the Corn Maze, walked around in the pumpkin patch, visited the gift shop, and just had a grand 'ole time!

I think her favorite part was watching the pig races. She got really excited seeing everyone around her clapping and cheering. She wasn't too crazy about the sheep... especially the one who tried to get a little too close. She pretty much liked all the animals, as long as they didn't get too close!

Aunt Sharon, Anjali and Jamee

We met Sharon, Anjali, Jamee, and some of their friends from Hanford at Arden Faire Mall tonight, and had dinner with them at Fresh Choice. It was fun to see everyone, and Sarah had a ball hanging out with her great Aunt and cousins!
